PPL Northeast/Pocono Reliability Project

ROUTE SELECTED FOR NEW POWER LINE, PUBLIC COMMENT WELCOMED

To meet growing demand for electricity and to improve the reliability of electric service in northeast Pennsylvania and the Pocono Mountains, PPL Electric Utilities has announced a multiyear project to strengthen the electric delivery system in the region.

Electric customers in this region of Lackawanna, Monroe, Wayne, Pike and Luzerne counties will enjoy many benefits from this project. It will ensure a safe and reliable supply of electricity for homes and businesses, and it will improve service by reducing the duration and number of power outages that our customers experience.

Public involvement is a key part of this project. We welcome your participation and want to hear your comments. We will use your input wherever we can to help minimize the impact of this project on people and the environment.
